hello there friend. i am madison rally. welcome to my little space on the internet.
a little about me:
i am a michigan native, & while i love traveling to many other ends of the earth, i don't think there is a better place to live than right here in the mitten.
after many years of changing my mind & my majors, i finally ended up with a studio art degree from michigan state university «go green!». i love all things fine art, design, photo, & video.
i love taking pictures. while i do a variety of work, my absolute favorite is portraits—specifically photographing women. as women we are often the ones behind the camera snapping photos of our kids & pets or friends & families, and sometimes we never even make it in the photos ourselves, let alone into ones that we absolutely love. we get so busy working or caring for our families, that we don’t take the time to look & feel our best in front of a camera. my goal is to change that. i want to take the best, most beautiful pictures you’ve ever seen of yourself. photos you want to show off to the world & pass down generations. i believe in capturing beautiful pictures that will last a lifetime.
while at msu i also snagged myself a minor in telecommunications, which will probably help make a little more sense of my life's path & passion...
along with a couple decades of graphic design, i have been in radio & television, both behind the scenes & in front of the camera & microphone since 1999. my true love is the morning mic (mostly because i don't have to worry about hair or makeup on the radio), & in february of 2016 i found my way to ann arbor, michigan where i became a part of the morning show on 102.9 w4 country. this is where i reside now, & i could not love my co-hosts more. they are my people. we are a fun & completely dysfunctional little family.
i'm not exactly sure what this little space will become just yet, but i do know i have loads to say. i'm hoping to have a little fun & meet some interesting people along the way. i love food & fashion, friends & family. you'll likely see a little bit of everything. one thing i can promise is that i won't sugar coat anything. you'll get my real thoughts & feelings here. the good, the bad, the ugly & the fabulous. i believe there is beauty in everything, even the ugly. we all have stories to share. if mine can help others, why not?
