THE BOOK CLUB
WHO
Anyone can join! This is a welcoming space for readers of all backgrounds, united by a love of stories and connection. Whether you're a lifelong reader or just diving into the world of books, you’ll feel at home here. While some might consider the book selections to be geared more towards the ladies, we are happy for anyone to join!
WHAT
Each month (or longer for some books), we’ll explore a carefully selected book, focusing on stories by women authors or with strong, relatable female characters. We prioritize engaging, apolitical reads that spark discussion and bring a sense of fun and warmth to our group. Some of the themes recommended by members include mystery, historical fiction, and based-on-true stories. We may or may not stick with this—whatever the group decides! WHERE
Virtual! Meetings take place on Instagram, Facebook, and anywhere we can share thoughts, host live discussions, and create an interactive community space perfect for book lovers on the go. Stick with us as this develops, but for now, make sure you’re following @madisonrally on Instagram, and https://www.facebook.com/itsmadisonrally for updates to the page and where most of the discussion will take place for now. Make sure you subscribe to the newsletter at the bottom of this page because as soon as I figure out how to make one, I’ll make sure I get the info to everyone that way!

We kick off with our first book Friday, November 1st, and meet virtually each month for discussions, recaps, and shared insights…more on this to come, stay tuned!

you selected a good one! truth be told, it was a really close race. we’ll need to revisit the other options in upcoming months!
i am super excited to start with this book. i’ve actually had it on my bookshelf for a while now and never read it. i’m not sure why! it honestly wasn’t the one i expected everyone to vote for (i didn’t vote for it lol), but i love that little roll of the dice in a book club like this. i want it to be truly group-led!

THE NEWSLETTER
Ok, truthfully I’ve never created a newsletter in my life! So who knows how this is going to go—BUT sign up! There’s still a lot of little details to sort out for this little book club we’re starting (we’re basically all starting this together, right?). So when I figure out new things and next steps like when/where/how the virtual meetings will go, selecting next books, etc. I’ll post on socials, but you won’t want to miss it right? So, I’ll figure out how to make a newsletter (in like the next couple weeks, I promise!), and we can all stay on the same page (pun intended). Plus, I’m bound and determined to get us tote bags, and you don’t want to miss those! :D
